RIDI will be showcasing a raft of new luminaires on stand M2 at ARC 08. The leading manufacturer of affordable German luminaries will be displaying many products of interest to lighting designers and specifiers, including the award-winning products VISION III and Domino, the successful F-Line range, as well as the innovative VENICE light channel.

The Red dot award-winning VISION III from RIDI is a suspended direct/indirect panel luminaire that’s designed to create a comfortable and productive work place. A broad micro-prism panel and extremely shallow profile makes for a discreet design, that delivers eye-catching looks and a high light output ratio for maximum energy efficiency. Excellent quality of light and effective glare control, make the stylish VISION III the perfect luminaire for the 21st Century work environment.

The AIDA-Vario is a luminaire specifically for the UK corporate office market. Designed to meet the latest demands of CIBSE LG3a and LG7 the AIDA-Vario has a unique feature: a three position gondola section that can be lowered to maximise ceiling illumination or fully recessed to ensure a flush ceiling line. Each luminaire is available in a choice of matt aluminium louvre or reeded prismatic diffuser. Reeded aluminium or satinised white aluminium gullwings produce a softly diffused uplit canopy which is excellent for vertical light control and gives sharp architectural styling.

Also winner of a Red dot award is DOMINO, a stylish luminaire that combines form and function by utilising the luminaire housing to double as an electronic gear tray. It offers a winning combination of practicality, performance and robust manufacture – an ideal combination for lighting designers specifying retail lighting applications. Available in a 12w LED version or 20w CDMT, the range can be fitted with a range of additional lamp types - from high voltage through to high pressure discharge lamps.

Also on display is the VENICE Light Channel from RIDI is a narrow rectangular light channel, available for recessed or surface-mounted applications, and made of extruded sectional aluminium. Because of its flexibility, it is ideal for high-grade rectilinear recessed / surface mounting in almost every conceivable type of room whether in the commercial, industrial, or retail sectors. The VENICE Light Channel can be specified with a range of options, and is designed to permit continuous mounting in up to three lengths, (approx. 4.5 metres).

 The F-LINE, a trend-setting low profile direct/indirect luminaire is now available in two and three lamp versions. Featuring a sleek 25mm low profile, the complete F-Line range combines RIDI’s renowned German build quality and first class performance, in a discreet, cost effective package. Manufactured from high-grade steel all F-Line luminaries are robustly constructed with an inner core containing gear and louvre and a seamless outer shell creating a highly stylish luminaire choice for all types of commercial interior environments.
