A NEW SQUARE DEAL FROM RIDI

Sharp angular aesthetics, great performance and outstanding value are perfectly combined in the new SQL design concept from RIDI Lighting. Designed by Storp of Germany, the SQL range is a simple one body design approach for a variety of installations.

Satisfying the requirements of both LG3a and LG7 office lighting standards, the SQL range has the versatility to meet the diverse lighting requirements of the modern work-place in a distinctive and individual fashion. Offering excellent light distribution through parabolic louvres or micro-prismatic low-glare lenses, this high-grade luminaire range includes floor-standing, ceiling and pendant mounted models, as well as wall-mounted versions - all of which showcase the same classic angular design. In addition, the extruded column from the floor-standing range , forms a radical light column range called SQL-SV which is designed to work with linear fluorescent or colour change LED's.

This simple styling allows the luminaire to blend equally well into modestly but modern furnished installations, as well as into more elaborate 'architectural' interiors. The floor-standing luminaire in particular offers an ideal supplementary lighting solution for all types of corporate environment, especially offices, seminar rooms and cellular areas.

Mike Attard, Managing Director of RIDI Lighting says, "The SQL has been produced to satisfy the new European design trends for new clean lined, angular luminaries but in the UK we know that people either love or hate this type of styling. As such, the SQL range offers consultants and end-users an affordable collection of designs and options whilst built to the most exacting performance and German quality standards."

The SQL range is available in a range of single and twin T5 and TC-L lamp combinations. The eye-catching design of the SQL range is complemented by the use of carefully selected high-grade materials such as extruded aluminium and sheet steel. Additionally, these materials are treated with a high-grade, impact resistant powder coated Titanium silver finish and RIDI has deliberately avoided the use of plastic materials for the construction of the luminaire body.
