Newly launched to the UK market is RIDI Lighting's Waveline, a concept that breathes new life into the popular linear diffuser luminaire. With a blend of architectural elements and more familiar features, RIDI has created a general purpose luminaire that will confidently add a touch of style to any commercial or public sector interior lighting scheme.

Available in either reeded prismatic or 'soft effect' white opal diffuser options - and with a sleek 60mm slimline profile body - the Waveline is a discreet and attractive luminaire with wide appeal. The Waveline can be either ceiling mounted or wire suspended and in applications where ceiling height is restricted, a special body kit is availabe for semi-recessing. Also for Waveline, RIDI has developed a unique tool-less diffuser removal mechanism which guarantees valuable time-saving during routine maintenance.

The Waveline luminaire creates a pleasing visual environment by delivering good levels of illumination on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Additionally, the diffuser has been specially designed to distribute light upwards to add visual interest on the upward plane and to prevent the oppresive effect of a darkened ceiling.

Available in the highly efficient T5 lamp and HO and HE T5 lamp options, the Waveline is ideally suited for general purpose lighting applications - as in public utility buildings - where general purpose lighting with an architectural twist might be required. A 3 hour integral emergency facility is available as an optional extra where it is important to provide illumination in the event of mains failure.
